Aesthetics & Skin

Look the way you're starting to feel.

Neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and prescription acne care — delivered by an anesthesia-trained clinician who also knows what your medications do to your skin. Conservative by default. Natural by design.

2-minute booking · benefits verified first · no referral needed

Why here

The only injector in Coral Gables who also reads your chart.

Acne, hair thinning, and skin changes are often medication effects, hormonal shifts, or stress made visible. We look for that first. And when the plan is a neuromodulator or a filler, it's placed by a clinician with thousands of hours of procedural, anesthesia-trained work — not a weekend certificate.

✓ Psychiatric and hormone context checked before any prescription

✓ Conservative dosing, follow-up photos, and a written plan

✓ No pressure packages — treatment only when it makes clinical sense

✓ One chart, one app, one team

The menu

Three services. One written plan.

Neuromodulators

Neuromodulators (Botox® / Dysport®)

Softens expression lines — forehead, frown lines, crow's feet — and treats jaw clenching and tension patterns that often travel with anxiety. Results in 5–14 days, lasting 3–4 months.

Consult + treatment in one visit when appropriate

Conservative first dose; free 2-week touch-up review

Masseter (clenching/TMJ) and medical migraine discussed at consult

Dermal fillers

Dermal fillers

Hyaluronic-acid fillers to restore volume and structure — lips, cheeks, under-eyes, jawline, nasolabial folds. Placed slowly, with cannula where safer.

Full facial assessment before any syringe

Reversible HA products only

Photo-tracked; follow-up at 2 weeks

Prescription program

Acne & isotretinoin program

Prescription acne care for adults, including isotretinoin (Accutane®-class) when appropriate — with the mood monitoring an isotretinoin course deserves, built in.

Topical and oral prescription options, compounded where useful

Isotretinoin via the iPLEDGE program with monthly visits and labs

Mood and sleep tracked every month through the app

Psychiatry-aware skin care. Isotretinoin, spironolactone, hormonal therapies and many psychiatric medications interact with mood, sleep, and each other. Here they are prescribed by a clinician who manages both sides — and monitored the same way.

$249 self-pay

Precision Assessment

Best if the picture feels broader — mood plus energy, weight, hormones, sleep, performance, medication side effects, or uncertainty about where to begin.

Whole-picture symptom and medication review

Identify the highest-value next step

Targeted testing recommendations when clinically useful

Written pathway into psychiatry, wellness, or advanced care

Insurance + self-pay

Psychiatric Evaluation

Best if your primary concern is mood, anxiety, attention, sleep, trauma, medication management, or another psychiatric condition.

Comprehensive psychiatric assessment

Medication review and treatment plan

Validated symptom measures when appropriate

-Questions

Aesthetics questions

  • No. First treatments are deliberately conservative — you can always add at the 2-week review. Nobody should be able to tell you had anything done except that you look rested.

  • Almost always yes. Neuromodulators have no meaningful interaction with SSRIs, stimulants or mood stabilizers. Bring your list; we check it anyway.

  • It requires monitoring — which is exactly why it fits here. Mood is checked every month through the same app used for psychiatric care, and the plan changes if anything shifts.

  • Guided and Concierge members receive member rates. We don't sell prepaid packages that pressure you into treatments you don't need.

-Questions

Asked often. Answered clearly.

  • Psychiatric visits are billed to participating insurance plans or self-pay. Wellness programs use transparent flat self-pay pricing reviewed with you before enrollment — no surprise bills. Optional membership is $199 or $399 per month, published right on this page.

  • Dr. Borrego is a doctorate-prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner (DNP, PMHNP-BC) and certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) — licensed in Florida to evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe for psychiatric conditions. The dual training in psychiatry and anesthesia is exactly what allows IV ketamine and Spravato® care to be delivered in-house by the same clinician who manages your psychiatric plan.

  • Start with a psychiatric evaluation if mental health is the main concern. Choose the $249 Precision Assessment if the picture is broader or unclear, or use the 2-minute fit assessment for a quick directional starting point.

  • Many psychiatry, therapy, and wellness services can be delivered by telehealth to eligible patients in Florida. IV ketamine, Spravato®, TMS, and IV lounge services require in-person care in Coral Gables.

  • Let’s Thrive provides outpatient care and is not an emergency service. If you are in suicidal crisis or emotional distress and need immediate support in the United States, call or text 988. For an immediate medical emergency, call 911.
