Psychiatry, done the way it should always have been done.
Real appointment lengths, validated measures, and a plan that changes when the evidence says it should — for children, adolescents and adults, in Coral Gables or by telehealth across Florida
2-minute booking · benefits verified first · no referral needed
What we treat
Start with the pattern you recognize.
You do not need the diagnosis before you book. Each condition has a named care track — the structure that runs between visits.
Children and adolescents are welcome — evaluations include parents in the room and school context in the plan. Not treated here: eating disorders (we refer — National Alliance for Eating Disorders 1-866-662-1235) and active substance detox.
Clinical core · Mind
Psychiatry, done the way it should have always been done.
Real evaluations. Meaningful follow-ups. Validated symptom measures. Labs when clinically useful. A plan that can evolve without sending you to five disconnected offices.
Therapy · in the same chart
Structured. Measured. Actually coordinated.
Most people don't need therapy forever — they need the right kind, done deliberately, with a way to tell whether it's working. Sessions here use evidence-based approaches matched to your goals, and progress is tracked with the same measures your prescriber sees.
✓ CBT, ACT, and skills-based approaches for anxiety, depression, insomnia and ADHD
✓ Structured skill-building between sessions through the app
✓ One chart with medication care — your therapist and prescriber actually talk
✓ Preparation and integration support around advanced treatments

Three ways in
Therapy fits three ways.
Adult ADHD
An ADHD evaluation that actually rules things out.
Attention problems have many causes — sleep debt, anxiety, depression, thyroid, and ADHD itself. A real evaluation separates them before anyone reaches for a stimulant.
✓ Structured diagnostic interview + validated rating scales
✓ Sleep, mood and medical contributors screened first
✓ Stimulant and non-stimulant options, with monitoring built in
✓ Focus & Flow track between visits

Psychiatric visits are billed to participating insurance plans or self-pay. Wellness programs use transparent flat self-pay pricing reviewed with you before enrollment — no surprise bills. Optional membership is $199 or $399 per month, published right on this page.
Jay Borrego, DNP, PMHNP-BC is a doctorate-prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner (DNP, PMHNP-BC) and certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) — licensed in Florida to evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe for psychiatric conditions. The dual training in psychiatry and anesthesia is exactly what allows IV ketamine and Spravato® care to be delivered in-house by the same clinician who manages your psychiatric plan.
Start with a psychiatric evaluation if mental health is the main concern. Choose the $249 Precision Assessment if the picture is broader or unclear, or use the 2-minute fit assessment for a quick directional starting point.
Many psychiatry, therapy, and wellness services can be delivered by telehealth to eligible patients in Florida. IV ketamine, Spravato®, TMS, and IV lounge services require in-person care in Coral Gables.
Let’s Thrive provides outpatient care and is not an emergency service. If you are in suicidal crisis or emotional distress and need immediate support in the United States, call or text 988. For an immediate medical emergency, call 911.
